Victim Services

 

Ozark Rape Crisis Center provides 24-hour crisis intervention services to victims of sexual assault in Boone, Carroll, Johnson, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties in Arkansas.  All services are confidential and free of charge.

Services include:

24-Hour Crisis Hotline - Trained Staff and advocates offer information and emotional support to survivors of sexual assault, their families and friends.

Victim Advocacy - Advocates will accompany victims to hospitals, court, etc. to provide assistance and support throughout the medical, legal, and criminal justice process.  Transportation can be arranged if needed.

Support Groups - Support groups are available for survivors of sexual assault.  Separate groups are offered for family and close friends as well.

Information and Referral Services - Follow up care is available for victims of sexual assault, including referrals to other service providers for help in easing the physical and emotional pain of sexual assault.

Community Education - The staff of Ozark Rape Crisis Center are available to make presentations to schools, churches, businesses and other community organizations on issues related to sexual assault awareness and prevention.  In-
service training for area professionals is also available.
